ZTE Announces Global Launch of 7-inch HD Light Tab 2 Tablet

New terminal product boasts super-fast 1.4GHz processor

ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, announced today the global launch in Hong Kong, Spain and Indonesia of the ZTE Light Tab 2, a sleek, ultra-light, ultra-portable tablet PC that is fully compatible with 3G and WiFi and contains a 1.4GHz processor faster than most single or dual core products on the market.

The global rollout of the tablet will continue in Europe in France and the U.K. and in Asia in Malaysia from early 2012.

The Light Tab 2 has a 1024 x 600 7-inch HD touchscreen that provides crystal-clear images and supports Dolby surround sound for a superb audio video experience. It also supports all mainstream video playback formats including H.264, MPEG4 (720P), and Flash. The tablet has two high-quality cameras. A 300,000 CMOS front camera, and a CMOS 3M pixels rear camera with autofocus and 1.6x digital zoom. ZTE F601 GPON ONU Receives BBF Certification

ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced its GPON optical network unit (ONU) product F601 has been certified by the Broadband Forum (BBF).

In 2011, the BBF initiated a telecommunications industry first certification program based on its TR-156 protocol and the ITU-T G.988 protocol. This program was designed to verify GPON product compliance with ITU-T GPON standards and BBF specifications. ZTE received certification from the organization after the F601, which is based on a unified GPON ONT platform, underwent a series of BFF-hosted interoperability tests that also included several broadband vendors.

ZTE to Partner with ICT for Business Customer Services

ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has started offering its fixed network products to enterprise customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For this purpose, the company has established a technology partnership with IT service provider ICT, based in Bonn, Germany, who will sell ZTE’s products and solutions for broadband enhancements to both public and private sector customers. Their collaboration with ICT represents ZTE’s first step towards establishing an independent sales channel for enterprise solutions in Germany.

By joining forces with the sales experts of ICT, the Chinese provider of telecommunications equipment ZTE can for the first time provide enterprise customers in the DACH region with an offer of its products and solutions on the open market – previously, ZTE exclusively delivered its telecommunication products and solutions directly to network operators. ZTE Showcases CS Fallback Service with CSL at 2011 MAC

ZTE Uni-Core solution supports a smooth upgrade path from 3G to LTE/EPC without the requirement to upgrade the infrastructure, protecting operators’ investments. Accordingly, mobile operators are concerned with efficient ways to migrate legacy 3G voice and data services to LTE. H3G, ZTE Launch Commercial LTE Network in Austria

ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code:000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that it has launched a commercial LTE network in Austria in partnership with Hutchison 3G (H3G) Austria.

The jointly built network is based on ZTE’s latest Uni-RAN and Uni-Core solutions. It is H3G’s first commercial LTE network. As part of the project, ZTE will provide H3G Austria with LTE/HSPA+ equipment for major cities across the country and upgrade H3G Austria’s 3G core network to support LTE services. ZTE Becomes Global Leader in CDMA Base Station Market with 33% Share
