Tata Communications sweeps the Enterprise Telecom Services Category at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan India ICT Awards with three honors

Frost & Sullivan has conferred three awards upon Tata Communications in the Enterprise Telecom Services category at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan, India, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Awards. Tata Communications bagged the Enterprise Data Service Provider, Hosted Contact Centre Service Provider and Third-Party Managed Services Provider Awards for the year 2011.

The Indian enterprise data market has been extremely dynamic in the last couple of years and has been witnessing tremendous growth in the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector. Tata Communications has always been a pioneer and has introduced several firsts in the market such as Ethernet services, IPv6, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), Domestic Leased Circuits (DLC) and Public Cloud services. Tata Communications announces global technology association with Formula 1

Tata Communications, a leading provider of The New World of Communications, today announces a multi-year technology service and marketing agreement with Formula One Management. The agreement will see Tata Communications delivering world-class connectivity to all 20 Formula 1ä race locations over its global network, the largest in the world. It will also provide hosting and content delivery services to Formula1.com, which is accessed by tens of millions of fans around the globe.

Tata Communications celebrates its 10th anniversary of a unique public-private partnership that led to the creation of a truly global player in the communications services space.During this decade, the company transformed from an India-centric, international voice monopoly to a globally recognised, trans-nationalservice provider. Tata Communications Q3 consolidated EBITDA up by 61% YoY

Strong revenue growth maintained across operations. Gross revenues increase 19% YoY

Tata Communications announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. Consolidated gross revenues were at Rs. 36,041 million in the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as against Rs. 33,736 million in the previous sequential quarter and Rs. 30,180 million in the same quarter last year. The Core Business accounted for Rs. 31,648 million as against Rs. 29,079 million in Q2 FY2012 and Rs. 28,535 million in Q3FY2011. The Startup Business, primarily Neotel, posted revenues of Rs. 4,394 million in the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as against Rs. 4,657 million in Q2 FY2012 and Rs. 1,645 million in Q3 FY2011. CIIE and IIM-A’s start-up incubation programme, iAccelerator powered by Tata Communications

Company fosters spirit of innovation and provides access to mentoring, infrastructure and investment support to India’s rising business stars

As part of its ongoing initiative to encourage innovation in India, Tata Communications announces its support of iAccelerator, a start-up incubation programme that provides Indian technology entrepreneurs access to mentoring, infrastructure and investment support to kick start their businesses. iAccelerator is the flagship program of the Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM Ahmedabad. Since its inception in 2009, the program has helped launch 17 successful start-ups in the Internet/mobile domain.

Tata Communications launches mobile broadband solutions enabled by IPX+ framework

70 mobile network operators around the world sign up to the new service

Tata Communications, a leading provider of The New World of Communications, today announces its IPX+ (IP eXchange) mobile broadband enablement framework. 70 mobile network operators (MNOs) have signed up for the new framework which is designed to help capitalise on the latest technology innovations in the mobile broadband space via better inter-provider mobile service delivery and management.

Neotel to connect COP 17 within South Africa and to the rest of the world via Tata Communications

Neotel, whose majority shareholder is Tata Communications, will be providing connectivity for the much-awaited 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, being held in Durban from 28 November – 9 December. Neotel will provide WiFi access for the entire conference as well as, together with partners CISCO and Dimension Data, power Telepresence rooms available for public use throughout the event, with connectivity via the Tata Communications global network.
