Frost & Sullivan has conferred three awards upon Tata Communications in the Enterprise Telecom Services category at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan, India, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Awards. Tata Communications bagged the Enterprise Data Service Provider, Hosted Contact Centre Service Provider and Third-Party Managed Services Provider Awards for the year 2011.

The Indian enterprise data market has been extremely dynamic in the last couple of years and has been witnessing tremendous growth in the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector. Tata Communications announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. Consolidated gross revenues were at Rs. 36,041 million in the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as against Rs. 33,736 million in the previous sequential quarter and Rs. 30,180 million in the same quarter last year. The Core Business accounted for Rs. 31,648 million as against Rs. 29,079 million in Q2 FY2012 and Rs. 28,535 million in Q3FY2011. The Startup Business, primarily Neotel, posted revenues of Rs. 4,394 million in the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as against Rs. 4,657 million in Q2 FY2012 and Rs. 1,645 million in Q3 FY2011. Company fosters spirit of innovation and provides access to mentoring, infrastructure and investment support to India’s rising business stars

As part of its ongoing initiative to encourage innovation in India, Tata Communications announces its support of iAccelerator, a start-up incubation programme that provides Indian technology entrepreneurs access to mentoring, infrastructure and investment support to kick start their businesses. iAccelerator is the flagship program of the Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM Ahmedabad. Since its inception in 2009, the program has helped launch 17 successful start-ups in the Internet/mobile domain.

70 mobile network operators around the world sign up to the new service

Tata Communications, a leading provider of The New World of Communications, today announces its IPX+ (IP eXchange) mobile broadband enablement framework. 70 mobile network operators (MNOs) have signed up for the new framework which is designed to help capitalise on the latest technology innovations in the mobile broadband space via better inter-provider mobile service delivery and management.
