Deployed by banks and mobile operators alike, mobiquity has enabled significant change in how low income groups use the mobile to make transactions, including transfers and payments.
Comviva’s Online Gaming Solution (OGS) deploys the principles of cloud computing to extend “gaming as a service” to mobile users. OGS enables mobile service providers to target casual gamers with feature phones, who are averse to adopting the currently prevalent download gaming model – largely for reasons of affordability, complexity or incompatibility. With both the games and the game logic resident on a centralized gaming server in the cloud, rather than on the mobile device, customers with low-capacity phones can trial and consume a wide range of games.
