Partners with the Bombay Ad Club for Streaming

After successfully streaming the election results (with Zee News) and Union Budget (with UTVi Business Channel) live on the internet, is now going a step further by taking an on-ground event, the EMVIES 2009, to the web and allowing the media buying community from across the world to interact and express their views on the awards.  This effort will ensure that the event is more participative using social media to propagate it to the audience.

The EMVIES are one of the most anticipated events in the media fraternity. Conceptualised and organised by the Advertising Club Bombay, the EMVIES honour media agencies and are keenly followed by advertisers and marketers in India and abroad. The EMVIES recognise media agencies for their work under categories such as Best Media Strategy, Best Media Innovation, Best Media Research and Best Integrated Campaign, Best Media Agency of the Year. Further, the Grand EMVIE will be presented to the entry getting the highest aggregate score across all categories.

This year the event will be held at the Taj Land’s End in Mumbai on August 21., which boasts of a robust backend server, will carry the feed live on several media and advertising related portals as well as the Ad Club website,

The first two major live streaming projects undertook achieved tremendous success. The election result coverage with Zee News had 45,000 unique visitors and resulted in 500,000 page views over the three-day period from May 15-17. The budget stream with UTVi garnered 1.2 million views between July 5 and 6.

An online video broadcasting network that has content partners such as Star Plus, Colors, NDTV Imagine, Zoom, FTV, MTV, Channel [V], UTVi, Zee News and Live India on board, Nautanki.tvgenerates as many as 38 million views daily from 6 million unique viewers spread over 16,000 websites. The video player is now available on a number of popular sites including, AOL Video, Truveo, ICQ, Indyarocks, Bollywood Hungama, Biigpiic, and Facebook. has also harnessed the social media space around blogs and niche websites by allowing the blogger to embed a widget that carries the content from the 26 channels it partners.
