CaratLane.com, pioneers of online jewellery retail in India, today announced the appointment of Calvin John as Vice President – Marketing. Calvin will be responsible primarily for defining marketing strategy and positioning for CaratLane.com. He will oversee the implementation of national marketing campaigns that will drive growth for the brand.
Calvin brings in international experience in consumer-driven sectors like food and beverage and lifestyle retail. Having worked in the GCC, SAARC, ASEAN, and Indian markets, he has an in-depth understanding of what drives a customer to make that final purchase. Before joining CaratLane.com, Calvin worked with leading brands like Titan, UB Group, Hindustan Unilever and Bisleri. His last assignment at Tanishq was to launch a sub-brand ‘Mia’ by Tanishq, specifically targeting Indian working women. He also held the mandate of launching the e-commerce channel for Tanishq and eCeleste, an online solitaire selling interface
