Airtel brings Manchester United legends to India

Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, is bringing renowned Manchester United F.C legends Bryan Robson and Dwight Yorke to New Delhi. The two football legends will be participating in “Airtel Soccer Nights” to be held in New Delhi and Mumbai on 5th February 2012 showcasing the English Premier League match between Manchester United and Chelsea LIVE from Stamford Bridge in London the same evening. Adding to the excitement for all football fans in India, Robson and Yorke will also be showcasing the original 19th Premier League Championship trophy bagged by Manchester United F.C in 2010-11.

Bryan Robson has been the longest serving captain of Manchester United FC and also been the captain of the England national football team. He has been voted as the “Greatest ever Manchester United Player” in August 2011.

Dwight Yorke was a Trinidad and Tobago international player who was instrumental in the famous Manchester United treble win in the 1998-99 season. He also captained the T&T team in their 1st ever World Cup finals in 2006.

Manchester United plays in the top division of English professional football (known as the Premier League) and has won the championship a record 19 times. The club boasts of some of the greatest players from all over the world, thus making it one of the most successful and dynamic teams in the history of club football. Manchester United enjoys wide support of football lovers all over the world, including countries like Bangladesh and India where many regularly follow English and European club football.
